From Criminal Justice to the Marine Corps
With a diverse background and a passion for technology, my journey has been anything but conventional. I hold a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and proudly served five years as a Force Reconnaissance Marine in the Marine Corps. My time in the military taught me resilience, teamwork, and problem-solving skills that have been invaluable in my career.
Transition to Project Management
After my service, I pursued project management, completing a course through Syracuse University. This led to an opportunity at goBRANDgo!, a small marketing firm specializing in the B2B space. As a project manager, I honed my skills in overseeing web projects and ensuring client satisfaction.
Diving into Full-Stack Development
Driven by a love for coding and a desire to expand my technical expertise, I took a leap and enrolled in a full-stack JavaScript development bootcamp at Claim Academy. Upon graduating, I returned to goBRANDgo! as their sole developer. This role allowed me to dive deep into the world of web development, learning new languages and continuously improving my skills.
